Mais de 200 jogos deixarão o serviço após lançamento do novo PS Plus

Os novos níveis do PS Plus começaram a ser lançados desde o final do mês de maio e aos poucos foram chegando em outras regiões, como aconteceu nesta segunda (13) no Brasil e EUA. A Europa ainda terá que aguardar mais um pouco. O novo PlayStation Plus chega com novos recursos para seus assinantes e aqueles que já eram inscritos anteriormente no PS Plus “Normal”, serão transferidos para o PS Plus Essencial automaticamente.

O novo sistema se juntou com o PlayStation Now, dando lugar a novos níveis que são: PS Essencial, Extra e Deluxe – Premium nos EUA e regiões com streaming. O Essencial é o básico com 2 jogos mensais disponíveis, o Extra junta o Essencial com um catálogo com até 400 dos jogos mais populares para PS4 e PS5 enquanto o Deluxe vem com um catálogo de jogos clássicos das gerações do PlayStation original, PS2 e PSP para fazer download e jogar, bem como experimentação de jogos com limitação de tempo além dos benefícios dos níveis Essencial e Extra.

Mas esta combinação do PlayStation Now com o PlayStation Plus para dar vida aos novos níveis PS Plus Extra e PS Plus Deluxe ou PS Plus Premium está causando uma saída de muitos jogos que estavam disponíveis para jogar no PlayStation Now. Outros jogos deixarão o PS Plus Extra e Deluxe/Premium nos próximos meses, conforme divulgado ontem (14). Red Dead Redemption 2 deixará no dia 20 de setembro o serviço. Pode ser uma notícia decepcionante para os fãs, mas isso se alinha com a estratégia da Rockstar de oferecer seus jogos como parte dos serviços de assinatura, já que o GTA 5 deixou o Xbox Game Pass após três meses em 2021.
